Functionally-Loaded Outdoor Tactical Pants
The OTP (Outdoor Tactical Pants) Versastretch is the outdoor brother of the much sought-after UTP - the Urban Tactical Pants. In the tactical bushcraft update, the pants have become even more versatile, resilient and operational. Helikon-Tex has tweaked the material to provide a more rugged pant that is reliable, durable and comfortable even when in contact with tough surfaces and in rough conditions.Ideal cut for good fit
A basic requirement was the smart cut of the outdoor pants: Because full mobility is particularly important when operating outdoors, the OTP is designed for good freedom of movement and produced with an anatomical design. For an individual fit, the width can be adjusted by means of elastic waistband and the adjustable hook-and-loop - within certain range, of course. Just as important for tactical operations as for bushcrafters with a lot of accessories: Large belt loops allow the use of wide belts up to 50 mm wide (EDC, UTL® or Cobra®). The pant legs can be adjusted at the hem with a bungee cord. To keep the pants from slipping when bending or kneeling, the bottom has been designed in the fit of a pair of jeans.Robust material with stretch ability
In order to ideally complement the cut and guarantee full-motion pants, the material of the pants has undergone an upgrade. The Versastretch (93% nylon, 7% elastane) has special outdoor qualities because it is light, elastic and breathable to boot. Because it also dries quickly, it makes the pants more tolerant in wet and humid weather conditions or on tours where the effort increases: Moisture is ideally wicked away and the pants don`t weigh you down thanks to their quick-drying properties.Pocket layout without compromise
The potential equipment to be carried is crucial for a good layout of outdoor pants. The OTP Pants brings a lot to the table: Two front pockets closable with hook-and-loop have room for a smartphone and are suitable for inserting a spare magazine (AK/AR). Although the zippered thigh pockets appear unobtrusive and discreet, they have good depth and enough room for a wallet or even an extra pouch. The pocket edges are reinforced to keep lamp or knife clips from sliding back and forth.
Last but not least, the reinforced knee region, which is anatomically fitted and set off with a seam, can be reinforced with Helikon-Tex's Neoprene Low Profile Protection Pads over the inner knee pockets.
With an almost city-ready, modern cut and the unobtrusive pocket layout with extreme resilience, the OTP outdoor pants are a real update. Rugged, comfortable and equipped with all the pockets that tactical utility may require, it is rightfully the big outdoor brother of the Urban Tactical Pants.
