The TK2 Explore Cool Short impresses with its sophisticated cut and precise fit, which is specially designed for active movement in the field. The ankle-length short cut ensures that the sock only extends minimally beyond the shaft, thus guaranteeing maximum mobility in light footwear or mid-height boots, while the heel remains reliably protected. Their anatomical left/right construction supports a wrinkle-free fit, reduces friction points and effectively prevents blisters, even during long marches. This is complemented by medium-thick padding, which is specifically placed on the ball of the foot and heel. It noticeably cushions impact forces without creating additional volume in the shoe.

This is complemented by around 30% Lyocell, a botanically derived fibre with a cooling effect that ensures a pleasantly fresh feeling when worn. Polyamide, at around 15%, makes the fabric durable and guarantees shape retention even under heavy use, while a further 12% polyester additionally supports quick drying and stabilises the fabric. Finally, a small amount of elastane, around 1%, ensures flexibility and a secure fit without causing pressure points. This combination of materials ensures efficient moisture management that reliably wicks away sweat, prevents overheating and ensures a constant, dry foot climate even during long marches or in poorly ventilated shoes.
