Next Generation of the Iconic Combat Pants
With the G4 Combat Pants, Crye Precision has ushered in the next era of high-performance uniforms. The 4th generation tactical pants are made from elastic VTX Ripstop fabric, offering maximum agility, exceptional durability, and superior heat management for unrestricted performance. For optional protection, the special knee construction is compatible with the highly regarded Crye Precision knee pads. Enhanced with various ventilation options, these tactical pants strike a powerful balance between protection, freedom of movement, and comfort for a variety of mission profiles.
Intelligent Pocket Solution
The optimization of cut and pockets makes these pants a streamlined uniform, combining modern style with mission-oriented functionality: The openings of the mandatory side pockets have been adjusted to make it easier to access the contents while seated in a vehicle, while the mesh pocket bags ensure additional airflow. Furthermore, there is a built-in knife pocket with reinforced edges on the right side to keep folding knives conveniently within reach. The iconic thigh pockets are now zippered pockets with an internal mesh, which can securely store large smartphones or important small items or be used as ventilation openings. Two snugly fitted cargo pockets with laminated flaps and hook and loop closures are easily accessible and can optionally be worn open. On the left thigh, loops have been sewn in, which can serve as attachments for small charges or material carabiners. Finally, the discreetly integrated calf pockets with zippers offer additional storage for cables, snacks, or other lightweight materials.
Upgradeable with Signature Knee Pads
A key feature of the unmistakable design is the proven cut around the knees. Here, pockets are designed to hold the AirFlex Combat Knee Pads or AirFlex Impact Combat Knee Pads to protect the knees from treacherous urban terrain. For the optimal fit, the height and width of the knee area are adjustable. When no padding is inserted, hidden mesh material ensures pleasant airflow for day shifts in hot climates.
Thoughtful Design Down to the Details
For lasting comfort under tactical gear, the waistband is lightly padded with moisture-wicking material and equipped with adjustable elastic bands on the sides for a perfect fit. To ensure a tight fit around the boots, the pant legs are adjustable with hook and loop, preventing dirt and pests from getting inside.
High-Performance Material
To take performance to the next level, Crye Precision has partnered with Invista to develop a new uniform fabric that outperforms classic nylon-cotton blends. The VTX Ripstop made of 61% nylon, 37% cotton, and 2% Lycra excels in durability while offering 17% weight reduction and three times the tear strength. For high comfort, it features four times higher breathability, 60% faster drying time, and elastic properties. This means no need for separate stretch inserts, and the pants are made entirely from the innovative no melt/no drip material.
