Innovative Material Combination
The durable ripstop fabric with a breathable membrane forms a reliable barrier against wind and rain. The jacket features the innovative G-LOFT Climate Lining, made from breathable polyamide fabric with a thin layer of G-LOFT insulation. This lining wicks away sweat and transfers moisture to the membrane, allowing it to evaporate efficiently. The combination of materials provides excellent moisture management, delivering a unique wearing experience, even when worn over just a t-shirt. Additionally, a durable water-repellent coating ensures water beads off the surface, reducing drying time.
Extended Cut with Practical Features
The long cut covers the hips, directing rainwater effectively onto rain pants during heavy downpours. The storm flap with hook and loop closure and the overlap behind the two-way zipper eliminate weak spots for moisture, while ventilation zippers under the arms provide additional airflow during intense activity. The standalone collar protects the neck without needing the hood, while the hood itself, secured with two drawcords, stays firmly in place during strong winds or rain. One drawcord adjusts the face opening, and the other adjusts around the head, keeping the field of vision clear. The adjustable cuffs with hook and loop closures and an elastic drawcord at the hem allow for a snug fit, and the drawcords are cleverly hidden to prevent snagging, with excess cord tucked inside the front pockets.
