Lightweight Insulated Jacket for Sports and Everyday Wear
The Arc'teryx LEAF Atom Jacket LT Gen2.1 in black is the updated version of a proven classic. Designed as a midlayer, this synthetic insulation jacket impresses with its clever combination of different textiles, making it a multifunctional garment that can be comfortably worn as a mid-layer as well as a midlayer as well as a standalone piece during chilly morning runs.
Performance-Oriented Fabric Mix
Developers at Arc'teryx have a wealth of experience in combining fabrics with various performance characteristics. For the Atom Jacket LT, they chose LI PENG High Air Perm Nylon Ripstop as the inner fabric, which efficiently wicks excess heat and moisture away from the body due to its high breathability. The insulating synthetic fiber used is CLIMASHIELD Combat Fibrefill with DWR, providing breathability and retaining warmth even when wet. The outer shell features the flexible TORAY Mechanical Stretch Mini-Rip Lightweight, with DWR treatment for protection against light rain showers. On the sides of the jacket, elastic POLARTEC Power Stretch Hardface Fleece ensures additional ventilation and thermal regulation.
Practical Jacket with Storage Space
The full-length No Slip Zip keeps the collar securely closed even during intense movements. The collar is lined with soft fleece and has a chin guard. The two hand pockets of this cold-weather jacket are zippered and feature cable ports leading into the interior of the jacket. Elastic loops on both sides at chest and neck level facilitate optimal cable management. On the left chest, there is a zippered chest pocket that is easily accessible even when wearing the Atom Jacket under a hardshell jacket. The elastic cuffs seal off the sleeves, and the hem features an adjustable elastic drawcord.
