Description
Reinforced Cummerbund for Added Structure
The Agilite Gear Warfighter Cummerbund is a modern, semi-rigid side piece for plate carriers, offering a solid foundation for extensive tactical gear and ballistic protection. Developed in close collaboration with American and Israeli special forces, this cummerbund addresses known weaknesses in comfort and usability.
Compatibility with Plate Carriers
The Warfighter Cummerbund is designed for the proven Agilite Gear K-Zero Plate Carrier. Separately available adapters allow it to be used with the Agilite Gear K-19. Thanks to its cross-compatible hook-and-loop closure system, the cummerbund can also be adapted to nearly any plate carrier with loop surfaces at the front and rear lower plate pocket sections.
Interchangeable Closure System
The cummerbund is supplied with hook-and-loop front panels but can be easily upgraded with 2M ROC buckles, FirstSpear Tubes, or other compatible quick-detach systems using its innovative hook-and-loop strap design.
Reinforcement with CURV
The integrated CURV composite material provides full reinforcement, preventing sagging under heavy loads. This ensures a stable structure that prevents the front plate from riding up, even during dynamic movements.
Versatile Modularity
The stiffened construction with laser-cut laminate creates MOLLE loops on both the interior and exterior. This design allows for the attachment of pouches for side ballistic while simultaneously accommodating additional modular pouches.
Superior Ventilation
The skeletonized design reduces sweating under the cummerbund and effectively prevents heat buildup. Additionally, the material absorbs minimal moisture, ensuring lightweight performance in wet environments.
Sizing Information
For optimal fit, the cummerbund is available in three sizes. While the hook-and-loop closure allows for fine adjustments, the sizes differ in the number of MOLLE columns: 7 on size M, 9 on size L and 11 on size XL. When combined with the K-Zero Plate Carrier, the sizes accommodate the following total circumferences (measured above the navel):
- Size M: 76.2–101.5 cm
- Size L: 101.5–127 cm
- Size XL: 127–157.5 cm
If carrying radios or side ballistic inserts, it’s recommended to add approximately 10 cm to the measurement.
