Semi-Rigid Retrofit Cummerbund
The Agilite Gear Warfighter Cummerbund transforms a plate carrier into a stable foundation for extensive setups featuring mission-critical gear. Developed with direct feedback from Israeli Defense Forces and American Special Forces, this cummerbund is Agilite Gear’s answer to common issues found in existing cummerbund systems. Its ease of integration and high modularity make it a powerful addition to protective vests.
High Compatibility
Designed as an upgrade for the K-Zero plate carrier, these side panels can be seamlessly integrated into the carrier. The versatile hook-and-loop construction also allows compatibility with almost any plate carrier that features sufficient loop surfaces on the front and back. Systems with flaps achieve the most reliable connection, as the hook-and-loop is secured on both sides.
Convertible to QD Buckles
The front hook-and-loop closure can be replaced with compatible quick-detach buckles, such as 2M ROC buckles or FirstSpear Tubes. This allows users to equip one or both sides with QD closures without the need to purchase an entirely new cummerbund.
Advanced Composite Material
Reinforced with the proven CURV material, the cummerbund maintains a rigid form, securely carrying even the heaviest gear without sagging or folding. Additionally, the semi-rigid connection stabilizes the alignment between the front and back panels of the plate carrier.
Dual-Sided Mounting
The laser-cut laminate construction enables pouch attachment on both sides. For instance, radios and ballistic side armor pouches can be mounted on the inside, while the exterior remains available to attach magazine pouches and other gear.
Skeletonized Design
The numerous cutouts reduce weight and allow for optimal airflow. Elastic bands concealed at the rear enhance wearing comfort without compromising the cummerbund’s integrity.
Sizing Guide
To maximize MOLLE loop area, the cummerbund is available in three sizes. Hook-and-loop fasteners allow for fine adjustments, but for optimal fit with the K-Zero, measure your torso circumference just above the navel. The sizes accommodate the following ranges:
- Size M: 76.2 to 101.5 cm (7 MOLLE columns)
- Size L: 101.5 to 127 cm (9 MOLLE columns)
- Size XL: 127 to 157.5 cm (11 MOLLE columns)
For setups including radios or side ballistic plates, add approximately 10 cm to your measurement.
