  The Thyrm DarkVault 2.0 is a specialized version of the proven DarkVault, optimized for smartphone use in demanding environments. Unlike the original DarkVault, which serves as a universal gear case for sensitive equipment, the DarkVault 2.0 allows for easy attachment of smartphones to plate carriers and chest rigs. This ensures that the phone is always accessible for tactical purposes like navigation, ballistic data, or ad-hoc mesh communication. Standard phone cases can be used without the need for additional bulky covers.
  
  

  Smartphone compatibility

  Thyrm designed the phone holder and viewing window of the DarkVault 2.0 to be compatible with most smartphones available on the market, including those from Samsung, Apple, and Google.

  Most phone cases marketed as "Slim," "Sleek," or "Minimalist" are compatible, and even some labeled as "shockproof" or "Military Grade" will fit. However, cases that are two-piece (top/bottom), feature bumpers, kickstands, rings, or sliding camera covers are generally too large.
  
  In case of doubt, it’s worth comparing the dimensions of your specific case to the measurements listed here.

  Ich war vorsichtig optimistisch da die Abmessungen den Pixel 9 Pro XL in Otterbox Symmetry theoretisch minimal zu groß sind, ersters einsetzen war problemlos möglich. Ggf. bearbeite ich die Otterbox im Bereich der Klammer noch minimal für den perfekten Sitz.
