PPE with zip system
In 2023, Tasmanian Tiger's new ZP series addresses rapidly changing operational scenarios with complex loadouts and time-critical deployment. At the heart of the modular range is the TT Plate Carrier QR LC ZP, which uses an effective zip attachment system to provide a versatile and rapidly variable method of ballistic protection.
Basics and Basic Setup
The plate carrier, made for SAPI plates measuring 25 x 30 cm to a maximum of 26 x 33 cm, is set up for full loads and demanding operations: There won`t be any issues of wear and tear thanks to the durable Cordura 700 den. On the front, the carrier is equipped with M.O.L.L.E system in laser cut design, which is complemented by fleece strips. Modular addition of pouches and gear is optional but possible as usual.
On the back, the accessories of the ZP series can be attached to two zips. The ballistic vest is supplied with M.O.L.L.E. panel as a basic set-up, but the other parts of the series, such as the TT Tool Pack ZP and the TT Medic Assault Pack S ZP, fit just as perfectly.
A radio pouch is also already integrated in the panel carrier.
Carrying system and side panels
To ensure that the TT Plate Carrier QR LC ZP fits and sits ideally with any body length and load, the shoulder straps can be adjusted to size: Their length can be varied in a range between 28 cm to max. 52 cm.
The stiffened side panels can be removed and supplemented with pouches for ballistic side panels. They are 7.5 cm high and elastic in the vertical direction. The side panels are equipped with 5 M.O.L.L.E slots in laser cut design.
As a systematised series for complex operational conditions, TT groups a fully comprehensive group of packs and panels around the TT Plate Carrier QR LC ZP, thus complementing any PPE with an option for rapidly changing operational situations. The plate carrier, as the core of the group, can of course still be equipped via lasercut M.O.L.L.E and hook-and-loop, making it ready for any task, no matter how complex.
