The Petzl ARIA 2 is a compact and durable headlamp designed for professional use. Construction
Housing
The rugged housing of the ARIA 2 was specifically developed for professional everyday use and withstands heavy wear and tear. The headlamp is impact-resistant according to IK07 and drop-resistant up to 2 meters, offering reliable protection against mechanical stress. Additionally, it is dustproof and waterproof according to IP67, making it suitable for use in harsh conditions such as rain, dirt, or dust.
Design
The functional and compact design ensures high wearing comfort and maximum flexibility in use. The adjustable, washable headband can be individually fitted and ensures a secure hold even during extended use. The integrated mounting plate allows precise adjustment of the lamp’s tilt angle, directing the light exactly where it is needed. The ARIA 2 is also compatible with various helmet mounts and can be flexibly attached to different carrying systems.
Lighting Technology
The advanced LED technology of the ARIA 2 delivers up to 450 lumens of light output and ensures even, glare-free illumination. A wide, homogeneous beam is ideal for close-range work, while a combined beam facilitates orientation and movement. Three clearly defined lighting modes allow optimal adjustment to different requirements and provide a balanced ratio between brightness and runtime.
Power Supply
The headlamp is powered by three AAA/LR03 batteries as standard, making it ready for immediate use. Thanks to the integrated HYBRID CONCEPT technology, the ARIA 2 can also be operated with the optionally available CORE rechargeable battery. The lamp automatically detects the power source and adjusts its performance accordingly. This flexibility ensures maximum readiness, even during extended use without charging options.
Operation
Operation is handled via a central push button, allowing quick and intuitive control of all functions. The lighting modes can be easily cycled through. An integrated LED indicator displays the current energy level when switching the lamp on and off. In addition, a practical lock function prevents accidental activation during transport or when not in use.
