  Rugged Headlamp for Tactical Applications

  The Petzl ARIA 1 RGB Camo is a compact and rugged headlamp designed for tactical applications. In addition to powerful white light, the headlamp provides red, green and blue light in continuous or flashing modes.
  

  Construction

  Housing

  The compact housing of the Petzl ARIA 1 RGB is designed for use in demanding conditions. The headlamp is impact resistant to IK07 and withstands drops from heights of up to two metres in accordance with ANSI/PLATO FL 1. Its IP67 protection rating also means that the lamp is dustproof and waterproof. Weighing only 105 grams, the ARIA 1 RGB remains compact and comfortable to wear despite its rugged construction. The mounting plate allows the tilt angle of the lamp to be adjusted to suit the situation and the light beam to be directed precisely where needed.

  Design

  The removable and washable headband features symmetrical adjustment and can be easily adapted to the wearer’s head. The mounting plate is also compatible with various Petzl mounting solutions. These are available separately.
  

  Power Supply

  The ARIA 1 RGB comes with three AAA/LR03 batteries and, thanks to the PETZL HYBRID CONCEPT, is also compatible with the CORE rechargeable battery. In addition to alkaline batteries, lithium batteries and Ni-MH rechargeable batteries can also be used.  With the included AAA/LR03 batteries, the headlamp delivers a maximum light output of 350 lumens and a beam distance of up to 70 metres. With the separately available CORE rechargeable battery, it provides up to 475 lumens and a beam distance of up to 75 metres.

  Lighting Technology

  Three brightness levels are available for white light: Max Burn Time, Standard and Max Power. Max Burn Time is designed to provide the longest possible burn time, Standard offers a balanced combination of brightness and runtime, and Max Power provides maximum light output. The wide and uniform beam provides comfortable visibility and even illumination at close range. In addition, the Petzl ARIA 1 RGB Camo features red, green and blue light. The three colours can be used in continuous or flashing mode. The subdued coloured light helps preserve the eye’s dark adaptation and enables discreet illumination. In flashing mode, the RGB light is visible from up to 700 metres away and provides a runtime of up to 300 hours.

  Operation

  A single switch allows quick and easy selection of the brightness level. When switching the lamp on or off, an LED indicator displays the remaining battery level. For transport and storage, the PETZL ARIA 1 RGB also features a LOCK function that prevents accidental activation.
