  Inspired by its military predecessor, the Alice Ruck, Mystery Range has introduced the Rip Ruck series, a range of daypacks that look just as good for the daily trip to the office as their tactical predecessors. The Rip Ruck 15 is the smallest daypack in the range and with its 15 litres it`s perfect for your everyday hustle on the bus and train. A padded inner compartment for a laptop up to 15" in size with an additional, separate compartment for a tablet has our special attention, as the ability to transport the laptop securely is often a decisive factor when choosing an office bag. So we give it full marks here!
  
  Other compartments and pockets in the large main compartment are practical for safely storing phones or documents, and the flat zipped pocket on the front of the backpack, which can be accessed from the side, is easy to reach even with one hand. A zipped mesh pocket and two internal side pockets make it easy to stow smaller accessories, and the water bottle can literally stay out of the way, as there is a separate compartment for it on the side of the backpack.
  
  The PALS fabric and the daisy chain for attaching accessories borrow from its tactical predecessors, and the wide area for morale patches give the Rip Ruck 15 a tactical touch for the journey.

  But what we like most is the magnetic Rip-Zip closure, which is not only easy to open, but gives the daypack its typical look. The fixed carrying system with padded straps and mesh parts doesn't disappoint in terms of carrying comfort either. For usability in uncomfortable weather, the 330 Robic material and the robust YKK DWR-coated zips are safe and waterproof. What a great piece, whether as a computer bag or as a daypack for smaller trips in an urban environment.
