Versatile Sleeping Mat
The Mil-Tec BW Sleeping Mat is a versatile sleeping pad for camping, bushcraft and overnight stays in the field. Its design is based on the classic German Armed Forces sleeping mat. Simply unfold it, place it on the ground and fold it back into a compact package after use. No pump, valves or additional accessories are required.
Insulation
The mat is made entirely from EVA foam. The material creates an insulating layer between the sleeping bag and the ground while helping to keep moisture away from the sleeping area. As the mat is not air-filled, thorns, sharp stones or minor damage will not suddenly make it unusable.
Dimensions
When fully unfolded, the mat measures approximately 190 x 60 x 0.5 cm. It provides sufficient space for sleeping without being unnecessarily thick or bulky. The individual sections fold over each other in a zigzag pattern. When folded, the sleeping mat measures only around 38 x 28 x 4 cm. Its flat shape makes it easy to store in a vehicle, attach to the outside of a backpack or place between other pieces of equipment.
Can Also Be Used as a Seat Pad
The mat does not need to be fully unfolded for a short break. When folded, it can be used as a compact seat pad, providing separation from cold, damp or dirty ground. Weighing approximately 610 g, it is a robust option for camp, bivouac, festivals or emergency equipment.
