  Proven Magazine Pouch in an Updated Design

  With the new TACO Gen. 2, High Speed Gear has technically refined its well-known Rifle Mag Pouch while also reducing its weight. The pouch is designed to hold one rifle magazine, but thanks to its flexible construction, it can also accommodate other equipment of similar dimensions.

  Adjustable Retention

  The magazine is not held in place by a rigid insert. Instead, the retention pressure of the pouch can be adjusted using the side-mounted shock cord. This allows the retention force to be adapted to the respective contents. The contoured side panels also make it easier to insert and remove the magazine. In addition to most rifle magazines, High Speed Gear also lists certain radios, flashbangs, smoke grenades, and flashlights as suitable contents.

  Less Material, Lower Weight

  For the second generation, High Speed Gear uses laser-cut nylon laminate combined with a woven thermoplastic core. This construction keeps the pouch slim and reduces its weight by up to 20 percent compared to its predecessor.

  For MOLLE and Belt Mounting

  The back features a MOLLE structure with 1/2-inch spacing. This allows the TACO Gen. 2 to be attached to MOLLE and PALS platforms or directly to a belt. Two HSG Clips are provided for mounting.
