  Durable Jacket for Winter Adventures

  The brand-new Helikon-Tex Yukon Winter Jacket combines the proven durability of a parka with the comfortable warmth retention of a lightweight insulated jacket. This hybrid winter jacket from the Bushcraft line feels at home in subzero temperatures in the forest and is ideal for gathering firewood, building shelters, and enjoying remote evenings by the campfire.
  

  Protected Against Thorns and Sparks

  To withstand the challenges of intensive forest excursions, the outer material is Helikon’s durable Duracanvas, composed of 65% polyester, 33% cotton, and 2% elastane. While the cotton blend makes the fabric resistant to burn holes from sparks, the elastane gives the entire jacket stretch for unrestricted movement and lasting comfort. Unlike classic winter jackets, the material is relatively quiet, maintaining situational awareness in the shelter. The fabric can also be ideally treated with wax for sustainable water repellency.
  

  Functional Climashield Insulation

  For protection against the cold, Helikon-Tex uses 67g/m² Climashield Apex insulation in the Yukon Winter Jacket, which retains warmth even when wet and regulates body temperature comfortably. This modern synthetic filling is among the lightest and most thermally efficient continuous fiber insulations on the market, making it perfect for demanding undergrowth operations.
  

  Performance-Oriented Design

  The jacket’s cut is balanced and allows layering with fleece jackets for adaptable insulation. To prevent heat loss from the head, it features an insulated hood that can be adjusted with two drawcords and a hook and loop strap. The 2-way front zipper with inner flap and chin guard closes high enough that a scarf is almost unnecessary. Hook-and-loop-adjustable sleeve cuffs and the elastic drawcord at the hem seal the jacket, while underarm ventilation zippers provide optional airflow when chopping wood or building shelters. Two cord loops on the front and fabric loops on the sides allow attachment of pouches for collecting berries, tinder, or firewood—or can be used with carabiners for quick access to gloves or other essentials.
  

  Versatile Pocket Solution

  Two front jacket pockets are accessed via zippers on the sides and lined with fleece at the front. The two chest pockets with coarse-profile zippers are easily accessible even under a backpack and each contain a small internal mesh pocket for GPS, lighter, compass, power bank, or other small items. An upper arm pocket on the left sleeve provides additional storage, and the securing loop makes attaching tethers easy. A 9x11 cm loop panel allows for customization with patches. Inside, there is a Napoleon pocket on the left side for safe storage of small, vulnerable items. Two open mesh pockets are ideal for drying socks on the body or keeping winter gloves warm.
