Highest functionality for the mission
The Haix Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX mid is an update of the proven operational boot for police and authorities. The medium-height, particularly lightweight boot places great emphasis on foot climate, wearing comfort and safety and, with convincing material and design tricks, provides an operational boot adapted to the changing needs of daily operational situations.
Upper material
Leather
The smooth leather of the upper material is so robust and resistant that no sharp edges or pointed objects need to be feared: The leather guarantees the safety that must be relied upon in professional use.
Haix Climate System
For a particularly good foot climate in the shoe, Haix relies on a combination of components of its "Haix Climate System", consisting of a moisture-regulating membrane and a ventilation system of air channels.
Gore-Tex Extended
Thanks to the three-layer Gore-Tex Extended membrane used throughout the boot's abrasion-resistant lining, the boot is equipped with strong breathable properties while remaining waterproof. So while there's good ventilation inside the boot, keeping feet dry and comfortable even during longer missions, it also prevents moisture from entering from the outside. Especially when the circumstances of use alternate between indoor and outdoor, the climate comfort in the Haix Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX is ideal.
Air channels
Vents in the upper get air circulating inside the shoe with each step and the accompanying pumping motion, moving moisture to the outside.
Sole
Inner sole
In order to not only regulate moisture during long missions, but also to guarantee the most ergonomic and relieving wear possible, Haix relies on an integrated cushioning wedge in the 2-component PU insole for the second generation of the Eagle Boots, which provides a special suspension of the steps. With this "Haix Absorption" shocks are absorbed and even long-lasting operations are easily dampened.
Pronation support
Because the heel itself is separately stabilized with asymmetrical PU foam, the small but fine extra comfort is also in the detail: the so-called pronation support helps as an orthopedic or biomechanical reinforcement to support the natural movement of the foot, in which the foot rolls inward to absorb the shock of each step, and to correct minor overpronation. This provides support for the heel and helps to prevent twisting.
Outsole
The Haix Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX owes its particularly good slip resistance to the special rubber compound, which is resistant to fuel oil, heat and cold and offers the best grip on different surfaces. With an innovative tread design, high slip resistance and grip is provided on a wide variety of surfaces.
The sole is non-staining and complies with EN ISO 20347:2012, so the boot is also officially approved as a work shoe.
Metal-free design
Especially for authority missions, it pays off that the Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX completely dispenses with metal and eliminates permanent, annoying beeping in security areas.
Reduced sun reflection
Thanks to Sun Reflect technology, heating of the upper leather by direct sunlight is reduced because sunlight is reflected off the leather; this keeps leather, and therefore the foot, cool.
