The Falke TK5 Wander Woman sock is a calf-high design that is designed for light hikes and brisk day trips. It is also a reliable partner for bushcrafting, trekking in warmer regions or in summer temperatures, cleverly combining comfort and function.
Design
The higher shaft prevents pressure from shoe collars, regulates heat build-up and offers full freedom of movement. The model is specially designed for narrower women's feet and fits perfectly with category A multifunctional and trekking shoes. An anatomical right/left cut and an ergonomically designed toe box provide a secure fit and reduce pressure points, even on long stages.
Sole construction and padding
The sock is specifically padded in the heel, ball and toe areas. This is exactly where stress occurs during longer walks. The light cushioning reduces impact forces and protects against friction without losing the direct feel in the shoe. This is particularly noticeable on uneven terrain or on passages requiring greater sure-footedness. The sole construction is three-layered, which allows moisture to be quickly wicked away.
