  DNS Alpha sets new standards for tactical clothing systems with the new Light Insulation Hoodie LE Gen.2. This high-performance mid-layer combines cutting-edge material technologies with an even more precise fit, enhanced functionality, and optimized thermal performance. Developed according to the proven Grey Man concept, this upgrade impresses with improved durability and a well-thought-out design that meets the highest demands.

  Advanced Base Components

  For the outer shell, DNS Alpha utilizes an advanced, mechanically textured Polyamide 6.6 with improved elasticity, offering an exceptional combination of durability, abrasion resistance, and flexibility. The new high-performance insulation, made of hydrophobically treated polyester, has been further refined to ensure an even better warmth-to-weight ratio. The redesigned lining, made of highly breathable and windproof polyamide, ensures a comfortable microclimate in a wide range of weather conditions. Thanks to the innovative material combination, the Light Insulation Hoodie LE Gen.2 can be packed down to an even more compact size, making it easy to store in any deployment or travel bag.

  Sophisticated Features

  The smart 4-way stretch construction in the back area has been further refined to allow even greater freedom of movement and maximum wearing comfort. A redesigned Lycra panel at the sleeve cuffs provides improved abrasion resistance and durability, even under intensive use. The functional hood is now even more ergonomically shaped and optimized for improved compatibility with operational and crash helmets, ensuring maximum protection even under extreme conditions.

  Advanced Temperature Management

  The DNS Alpha Light Insulation Hoodie LE Gen.2 has been developed for an extended temperature range and now offers even better insulation properties at temperatures around +5°C. By strategically choosing the right base layer, the temperature performance can be further adjusted to ensure optimal protection against the cold.

  DNS Alpha System Fit

  The DNS Alpha System Fit sizing system has been further developed to allow for an even more precise size selection. By optimizing the layering principle from base layer to outer layer, all DNS Alpha garments can be perfectly combined. Once a personal DNS Alpha size has been validated, a precise fit is guaranteed without compromise, eliminating the need for lengthy size adjustments.
