  Expedition Sleeping Bag for Extreme Conditions

  The XP Down 1000 XL is a high-quality down expedition sleeping bag designed for use in extreme temperatures. This version, originally developed for the Indian armed forces, combines a premium 90/10 down filling with an innovative construction to ensure maximum heat retention and comfort. With a guaranteed fill power of at least 600 CUIN, this sleeping bag provides outstanding insulation performance while maintaining an optimal weight-to-warmth ratio.

  Optimized Heat Performance

  The XP Down 1000 XL features a carefully designed combination of H-chamber construction, differential cut, and trapezoidal foot section. These technical features prevent cold spots, maximize insulation, and ensure the highest level of sleeping comfort – even in the harshest conditions.

  Integrated Hood for Maximum Protection

  Another key feature is the pre-shaped hood with adjustable drawstrings. This allows the facial opening to be reduced to a minimal breathing hole, keeping warmth effectively trapped inside. The generously sized thermal flap on the inside of the centrally positioned zipper further prevents any heat loss.

  Durable Materials and Thoughtful Features

  The XP Down 1000 XL is not only extremely warm but also weather-resistant and highly durable. The outer shell, made of 100% polyamide, protects against moisture and wind, while the Thermoflect lining reflects body heat to enhance insulation. An additional zipper cover provides extra protection against wind and cold.

  Comfortable Entry and Flexible Use

  The practical center zipper allows for quick and easy entry – even in confined spaces like tents or bivouacs. The two-way zipper with an anti-snag strip also ensures flexible ventilation and hassle-free operation, even when wearing gloves.
