Combat Shirt for Winter Operations
When winter missions require cold protection that does not get in the way of moisture management during intensive activity, and at the same time a combat shirt is needed whose wearing comfort is not affected even by heavy gear, then the new AcE Winter Combat Shirt in the 2nd generation by UF Pro is the non plus ultra. With a smart system of material and design, UF Pro has developed a combat shirt that combines the latest technology in heat management with mobility performance.
3 in 1 material construction
The special feature of the AcE Gen. 2 Winter Combat Shirt is its design as a 3-in-1 shirt: The Combat Shirt combines underwear, midwear and outerwear through a smart combination of materials and their processing.
The outer material is made of 100% nylon and is therefore windproof and water-repellent. It forms the first protective layer against freezing cold conditions, wind and rain and is also particularly quiet: This makes it ideal for tactical missions that need to be as quiet as possible.
In order to set up the thermal management ideally from the outside to the inside, not only has a lining been sewn in, but an air pocket has been incorporated between the lining and the outer layer. This additional insulation layer ensures an optimal body climate and can ideally manage moisture and heat, regardless of whether the body is at rest or in an active performance state with increased core body temperature.
As a body region that is most affected by icy temperatures, especially in an active state, special attention was paid to the design of the sleeves: UF Pro has ensured here with G-LOFT lining and merino wool that excellent thermal insulation properties meet moisture-wicking, odour-inhibiting qualities. Moisture management and protection from the cold are thus guaranteed in one go.
Compress and combine
Thanks to the G-Loft synthetic fibre, the shirt does not lose its structure and functionality when packed in the luggage: The material fully unfolds again with full properties.
To make the combination with other jackets, backpacks and PPE as smooth as possible, UF Pro has incorporated its integrated air/pac system. The air/pac system prevents cold air from entering and cushions the shoulders and upper back. This cushions the weight of the plate carrier or backpack and makes carrying more comfortable.
The angled front zip pursues the same goal of ideal combinability: especially when wearing an additional hardshell or thermal jacket, the angled zip of the Combat Shirt is not in the way and there is no overlapping. This avoids not only obstructions but also pressure points and significantly increases wearing comfort.
Temperature regulation through zips
Whether you are wearing a plate carrier or a backpack, the kangaroo pockets are always easy to reach. With their mesh interior, they allow fresh outside air to flow directly to the body core and excess heat is dissipated at the same time.
Other strategically placed vents can be easily opened and closed with the smooth-running YKK two-way zips, allowing you to manually regulate body heat.
