  Daypack with back plate

  The new TT Modular Tac Pack 28 is one of the Tasmanian Tiger novelties 2023, which inspire with understatement in design and at the same time legitimately deliver in the area of functionality. The modular daypack with a simple surface comes with a huge backbone: it can be upgraded to a backpack for heavy loads with a removable back plate and the option of a hip belt, without losing a single bit of its modern symmetrical look.

  Material and carrying system

  The classic daypack with a volume of 28 litres and dimensions of 52 x 30 x 14 cm is made of 700 den Cordura. When used as a daypack with its typical tasks, the TT Padded Back carrying system is sufficient to guarantee secure comfort. The padded back section with padded shoulder straps cushion the backpack against the back, while stability is provided by the thin chest strap and the thin, detachable hip belt.

  To pack the backpack with unusually heavy or angular loads, the removable PEP back plate with aluminium rail can be used. The splint can be deformed and adjusted to fit the wearer's back, providing ideal support. To transfer the load to the hips, the thin hip belt can be replaced by a M.O.L.L.E Hip Belt. The Hip Belt is not included in the scope of delivery, but attachments are provided for it.

  Modular use

  The volume of the daypack is packed into the large main compartment, which can be opened wide thanks to the all-round zip. Four small mesh pockets on the sides are provided for smart packing inside, and there is also a M.O.L.L.E fleece surface on the inside wall. A flat zipped pocket is inserted on the front for quickly accessible documents and small items. With two vertically running compression straps, the backpack can be lashed together to compress unneeded space.

  The simple design of the surface doesn`t hide the fact that a familiar tactical gear setup can take place: The front as well as the sides are studded with lasercut M.O.L.L.E. For tripods or hiking poles, bungee cords are attached to the sides. A fleece area completes the options for attaching pouches, gear and patches.

  With its casual surface and its uncomplicated modular option, the TT Modular Tac Pack 28 undersells and overdelivers. Hence, it's an exciting novelty even for civilian use in 2023.
