Reliable retention on clothing and equipment
The classic Cord Lock F4 / Military 2M F-Series was developed for sustained use and is suitable for tactical, civilian, and hunting equipment as well as clothing. Manufactured from durable PA6 polymer, it offers high stability at low weight. An integrated steel spring provide consistent clamping force and secure retention, even with frequent adjustment or tensile load. The ribbed exterior structure improves grip and allows secure handling – even while wearing gloves.
Well-designed construction for outdoor use
An open bottom drainage hole prevents moisture or dirt from accumulating inside. This ensures reliable function even under adverse conditions throughout the year. The cord lock is compatible with common cord types such as paracord or 1/8” shock cord and is suitable for hood drawstrings, trouser cuffs, backpacks, pouches, or generally any equipment featuring drawcord systems.
Flexible mounting options
Side slots allow the lock to be securely sewn on using 8 mm webbing, enabling one-handed adjustment directly on the piece of equipment. Alternatively, the lock can run freely on the cord to allow variable adjustments. This makes it suitable both as a replacement part for worn or lost cord locks and for individual DIY projects such as camouflage covers, ghillie suits, or other custom-made equipment.
Practical detail for distance marking
In combination with cord material, the lock can also be used as a simple reference marker – for example, to assist with orientation over fixed distances in the field. By sliding it along the cord, steps can be counted more easily.

Note
Due to production processes, some cord locks may be delivered in a pre-tensioned state with a compressed spring. By firmly compressing the lock, the pre-tension is released and the cord lock is ready for use.
