  Based on the XA PRO 3D Tactical, Salomon has used a stronger outsole and consistently more robust material in the new XA FORCES MID.
  
  What remains are the proven features of the Contragrip sole with gravel and mud protection and the 3D Advanced Chassis System for unparalleled grip on all surfaces. The combination of Sensifit construction and dual-density midsole for optimum grip in the shoe is also still reliable. The reinforced rubber toe cap, foam heel cushioning and ankle-high shaft provide additional safety on civilian treks or tactical missions in the wilderness.
  
  With well thought-out details such as the reinforced tongue, the Quicklace System including lace pocket, non-reflective materials and the replaceable Ortholite insole, the XA FORCES MID - shown here in the Coyote colour - is always a good choice and ideally suited for numerous outdoor uses!

  Another great made boots from the" Forces" military program. They are very light and comfortable to wear with excellent protection for the heel and toes. This non Gore-tex version is suitable for wearing in warmer weather but I would not recommend it for longer walks through water, although light rain will not harm them(for worse and colder weather conditions there is a Gore-tex version). I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone. En montrer plus Montrer moins
