The NEXTORCH DC0084C is a 18650 Li-ion battery with integrated USB-C charging function that handles recharging efficiently on the side. Thanks to its integrated USB-C charging interface, a separate charger is no longer necessary – ensuring maximum independence during use. An integrated LED charge indicator provides precise feedback on the current charge status at any time, allowing for reliable energy planning.
Technical Protection Architecture
The DC0084C relies on a robust lithium-ion cell that impresses not only with its capacity of 3400 mAh (12.24 Wh) but also with its triple safety architecture: An integrated IC protection – a microcontroller-based safety chip – continuously monitors all relevant electrical parameters and ensures stable cell voltage.
This safety intelligence is complemented by a precisely controlled PCB protection on the circuit board, which manages all charging and discharging processes and automatically intervenes when critical voltage levels are reached.
The safety architecture is completed by reverse polarity, overcharge, and deep discharge protection: This reliably protects the system from damage caused by incorrect polarity, prevents dangerous overcharging, and stops deep discharges that could irreversibly damage the cell structure. These measures ensure consistent performance, extend the battery's lifespan, and provide a high level of operational safety.
Additionally, these protective mechanisms enable more than 500 charge and discharge cycles without compromising cell stability – ideal for long-lasting, high-frequency equipment use.Performance Parameters for Tactical Compatibility
With a nominal voltage of 3.6 V and a discharge current of 5 to 6.3 A, the battery reliably supplies power to high-performance LED flashlights and electronic equipment. The charging current reaches up to 2A via charger and a maximum of 1A via USB port – with a charging time of 4 to 5 hours and a practical discharge duration of 8 to 10 hours. The maximum charging voltage is 4.30 V ± 0.05 V, making the battery perfectly matched to modern charging electronics.
