  Combat Shirt for Duty and Training

  The Leo Köhler KSK Combat Shirt 2.0 builds on the well-known Combat Shirt from Leo Köhler. The basic cut has largely been retained, while the features have been noticeably revised without changing the character of the previous model.

  Material

  The shirt is made from a blended fabric consisting of 65% cotton and 35% polyester. Cotton provides a comfortable feel, while the polyester content increases the durability of the fabric. This combination is particularly practical for regular wear, training and use under equipment: durable enough for operational use while remaining comfortable to wear.

  Construction

  Proven Combat Shirt Cut

  For the basic cut, Leo Köhler continues to rely on the proven concept. The torso of the KSK Combat Shirt 2.0 has a relatively close fit, while the sleeves and shoulder areas feature a noticeably more robust construction. This is particularly beneficial when worn under a plate carrier, chest rig or protective vest, as there is less excess material around the torso. The higher-cut collar complements the typical Combat Shirt design and protects the neck area where straps and webbing may come into contact with the body.
  

  Sleeve Pockets

  A closer look at the upper arms reveals the most noticeable change. Leo Köhler has redesigned the sleeve pockets. They are accessed via side-mounted zippers equipped with cord pull tabs, making them easy to grip even when wearing gloves. Large loop panels for patches, identification markers or unit insignia are positioned on the outside of the pockets. The pockets sit relatively flat against the arms and can be used without adding unnecessary bulk.

  Elbow Pad Inserts

  The sleeves also feature integrated pockets for elbow pads. Compatible protective inserts can be placed directly inside the Combat Shirt. Depending on the intended use, this can eliminate the need for separate externally worn elbow pads. This is particularly practical during shooting training, work in kneeling or prone positions and longer training sessions. If no protectors are required, the pockets can simply remain empty.

  Underarm Ventilation

  Another new feature is the zippered ventilation openings under the arms. During strenuous physical activity, the openings can be quickly unzipped to increase airflow around the upper body without having to remove the shirt or additional layers of clothing. During lower levels of activity, the zippers can remain closed. This allows the ventilation to be quickly adjusted to suit training intensity, weather conditions and personal preference.

  The Leo Köhler KSK Combat Shirt 2.0 is not a completely new development. Instead, an established concept has been revised in areas that matter during practical use. The proven cut remains unchanged, while the new pocket design, integrated preparation for elbow protection and additional underarm ventilation expand the shirt's functionality.

  This makes the Combat Shirt suitable for duty and training as well as shooting practice, tactical exercises and outdoor activities. Its straightforward construction is particularly effective when combined with a plate carrier or chest rig.
