This agile wind jacket is always a reliable layer in changeable weather, especially perfect for summer when an additional light layer of clothing is needed. Made from WindPack Nylon, a special nylon fabric developed for its windproof qualities and simultaneous lightness, the jacket offers optimal protection against the wind. Despite the light material, WindPack Nylon is characterized by extreme durability and resistance to abrasion and tears. Its breathability simultaneously ensures that moisture is effectively wicked away from the body, making the wind blocker ideal as a light jacket during training.
Another important element of the Tramontane Jacket is the DWR (Durable Water Repellency) coating. This microscopic coating on the fabric fibers prevents water from penetrating the fibers, with water droplets simply beading off the surface. However, this water-repellent property does not impair the fabric's breathability.
For added comfort and adaptability, the jacket features a full-length zipper, a drawstring at the hem, elasticated cuffs, and an adjustable hood to retain warmth when needed.
