  Hooded cold weather jacket

  The Level 7 Lightweight Winter Jacket is a cold weather jacket for extreme conditions. When deployed in snow and rain and freezing cold, the toplayer jacket keeps the body dry and warm, no matter what.
  
  

  Toplayer Jacket in Cold Weather Clothing System

  The Level 7 winter jacket was developed by Helikon-Tex according to the conditions of the US Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS). As a classic top layer, it is thus intended for combination with a fleece or soft shell jacket, where it achieves a convincing mix of breathability and thermal insulation with its special material conditions.
  
  To achieve the performance of the winter jacket, the design has been constructed around the Climashield Apex insulation. Climashield is a hydrophobic fibre that dries quickly and therefore does not compromise thermal performance. The nylon shell repels wind and water and maintains breathability. This combination keeps the body dry and warm, even when exposed to the elements.
  
  

  Hood and pockets for that extra bit of warmth

  It is well known that most heat is lost through the head, so the hood here is once again specially lined with fleece. If the hood is not needed or is in the way in combination with the equipment, the hood can be stowed in the high stand-up collar. This is easily accessible even when wearing gloves: The two-way zip makes it easy to operate. The hood itself can be adjusted with bungee cord, which is accessible from the chest pockets. Just like the hood, the hem and cuffs are adjustable to prevent incoming cold air.
  
  Warm hands and the necessary storage space are provided by the two chest pockets with generous zips, which are also lined with fleece. They are large enough to provide extra warmth even when wearing gloves.
  
  As an exceptionally lightweight winter jacket with a small pack size, the Level 7 jacket impresses with its protection against the cold even in winter-wet weather. With an ID panel on each upper arm, it is ready for any tactical mission.
  
  

  The right size

  The LEVEL 7 Lightweight Winter Jacket has a generous cut so that a second layer such as a fleece jacket or hoodie can be worn underneath. If you want to wear it on its own, you can also wear the Level 7 one size smaller. For an optimal fit, we recommend using the manufacturer's size chart.
