Rugged Material Blend for Targeted Performance
To deliver the perfect balance of durability and mobility, the HOP Pants utilize a dual-fabric construction: Duracanvas is used in all high-wear zones such as the seat, knees, and pocket areas, while VersaStretch covers movement-intensive sections.
Duracanvas, made from 65% polyester, 33% cotton, and 2% elastane, is known for its exceptional abrasion and tear resistance. It remains breathable and comfortable, with cotton providing a natural feel and polyester enhancing quick-drying performance and dimensional stability.The stretch zones – mainly the rear thighs and crotch – are constructed from VersaStretch (93% nylon, 7% elastane), a high-performance 4-way stretch fabric that offers full flexibility when climbing, kneeling, or crouching. It is lightweight, durable, and designed for extended wear during demanding activity.
Both fabrics feature a water- and dirt-repellent treatment, which helps moisture and debris slide off the surface. For harsh weather or prolonged stays in wet terrain, an additional wax treatment is recommended, especially for Duracanvas areas.
Adaptive Fit and Practical Features
An adjustable leg cuff system and a wide hook and loop waistband panel offer a tailored fit, ideal for movement under load. Reinforced knees with insert pockets allow you to upgrade your protection level, while gear-ready belt loops with eyelets support carabiner or D-ring attachments.
Smart Storage Layout for Real-World Needs
The HOP Pants offer a practical pocket setup: two front pockets with reinforced edges, two thigh pockets with hook and loop closures, and two spacious zippered cargo pockets. All pockets are lined with fine mesh to prevent the buildup of sand and dirt – a clear tactical advantage in rugged terrain.
