Tactical rain jacket for cold weather operations
The HELIKON-TEX Chinook Jacket is a high-performance rain and tactical jacket for professional users in tactical environments, as well as for bushcraft and demanding outdoor tours. Designed for temperatures ranging from -5 to 10 degrees, it combines reliable moisture protection with high breathability and functional features. Whether on duty or during training, this waterproof outdoor jacket impresses with its functionality and durability.
Material and weather protection
The robust 2.5-layer laminate with membrane achieves a water column of 20,000 mm and provides effective protection against heavy rain and wind. At the same time, a breathability of 20,000 g/sqm/24h ensures a balanced body climate during movement. The PFC-free DWR impregnation helps water roll off, while sealed seams and a concealed YKK two-way zipper with chin guard minimize moisture penetration.
Ergonomics and features
The ergonomic cut allows for great freedom of movement, even when wearing a plate carrier or backpack. The regular fit offers enough space for insulating midlayers. Adjustable cuffs with Velcro and an adjustable hem ensure a perfect fit. Velcro patches on the upper arms allow patches or labels to be attached. An integrated, adjustable hood increases weather protection when needed. Underarm vents with zippers help regulate temperature during intense activities.
Storage and organization
Two large front pockets with zippers provide quick access to equipment, while two upper arm pockets provide additional storage space for compact equipment or communication devices.
