  Tactical Daypack for Bushcraft and Field Operations

  The Bergen Backpack by Helikon-Tex is a compact, weather-resistant daypack rooted in classic military design, reengineered for modern bushcraft and survival scenarios. Offering 25 liters of total volume, including 18.7 liters in the main compartment, the Bergen is ideal for day missions or modular field setups. Durable 500D Cordura ensures long-term resistance to abrasion and harsh environments.

  Efficient Compartment Layout with Expansion Capability

  Three external pockets – one front and two side compartments – allow fast access to critical gear. These are secured with drawcords and flap lids using robust Fastex buckles. Above the pockets runs a row of MOLLE/PALS webbing, offering space for external attachments or remaining hidden under a cover flap for a low-profile appearance.

  The top lid features a flat zippered pocket for essentials. Internally, the main compartment includes a hydration bladder sleeve and a zippered document pocket, ensuring organized, secure storage for both gear and valuables in active environments.

  Tool Carriage and Underside Gear Loops

  Bushcraft-ready, the Bergen includes two full-length pass-through sleeves for carrying axes or machetes, plus three non-pass-through sleeves for knives or folding saws. The reinforced bottom panel includes two webbing loops to lash down a sleeping bag, poncho, or tarp – ideal for minimalist overnight shelters.

  Adaptive Loadout – Tactical or Minimalist

  The main compartment chimney drawstring system allows height adjustment and effective weather sealing. MOLLE/PALS webbing supports external pouches for tactical expansion or remains hidden for a more traditional bushcraft loadout. Whether moving between urban outskirts, deep forest, or rugged terrain, the Bergen remains a dependable core pack.
