  Maximum Safety and Comfort During Outdoor Bivouacs

  The Carinthia Expedition Cover Gore is the first choice for anyone who has to spend the night outdoors under the most adverse conditions – whether by choice or necessity. The classic bivy bag provides complete protection against moisture, wind, and snow while simultaneously creating a breathable microclimate that ensures dry and secure rest even during long nights in the open. The special feature: With the innovative zip-in-zip system, the sleeping bag can be directly integrated into the cover – entering and exiting remains just as comfortable as without a shell.

  GORE-TEX Gas Permeable Technology

  The Expedition Cover is made from a 3-layer GORE-TEX laminate specifically developed for sleep systems. In contrast to conventional GORE-TEX membranes, this version is gas-permeable – allowing the exchange of oxygen (O₂) and carbon dioxide (CO₂) while remaining 100% waterproof and windproof.
  
  The GORE-TEX Gas Permeable Technology ensures a dry interior climate while providing effective protection against cold, wind, and precipitation. Thanks to its high vapor permeability, condensation inside the bivy is minimized, while any moisture that does occur is quickly transported to the outside. The bivy bag thus functions not only as weather protection but also as an additional insulation layer – a decisive advantage in sub-zero temperatures.
  
  The combination of a polyamide outer fabric (PA 6.6), an ePTFE-based functional membrane, and a PU-coated polyamide floor section guarantees maximum durability with minimal weight. The material has been designed and tested to remain breathable and fully functional even under a one-meter layer of snow.
  
  

  Compact, Lightweight, and Durable

  With a length of 230 cm, a shoulder width of 90 cm, and a foot section of 65 cm, the cover provides ample space for sleeping bags of various sizes. Despite its robust protective performance, the bivy weighs only 600 g and packs down to a compact size of 32 x 10 cm.
  
  Whether in high alpine environments, wet terrain, or during military operations – this bivy bag ensures survival capability, comfort, and protection in one compact system.
