Tactical Duty Shoe for Urban Missions
The new Salomon Genesis Forces Mid GTX is a high-performance tactical and outdoor shoe designed specifically for dynamic movement in demanding and urban terrain. It combines the agility of a trail running shoe with the stability of tactical duty footwear, making it an excellent choice for military operations, tactical missions, or long-distance marches.
Construction
Upper Material
The innovative fabric blend consists of high-strength synthetic fibers, creating an extremely durable upper that remains stable even under intense use. At the same time, the material stays breathable and flexible, ensuring excellent comfort even during extended operations. The additional modern material combination with ripstop fabric provides enhanced abrasion resistance, low weight, and reliable weather protection. All materials are non-reflective, making the shoe ideal for covert operations. The integrated Anti-Debris Mesh prevents dirt and small particles from getting trapped between the foot and the footbed.
GORE-TEX Membrane
The integrated GORE-TEX membrane reliably protects against rain, moisture, and wet environments. At the same time, it allows internal moisture to escape from inside the shoe. This keeps the foot climate comfortably dry even during long marches or intense activity. This effect is supported by the comfortable synthetic textile lining.
Sole Construction
Active Chassis
The integrated Active Chassis stabilizes the foot during rapid direction changes and when moving across uneven terrain. At the same time, natural freedom of movement is maintained, allowing the shoe to deliver both stability and agility.
optiFoam Midsole
The optiFoam midsole, made from EVA foam, provides effective cushioning while maintaining excellent energy return. This reduces impact and significantly minimizes fatigue during long marches or demanding missions.
OrthoLite Insole
An OrthoLite insole adapts to the contours of the foot and provides excellent cushioning, breathability, and long-lasting comfort.
Medial Padding
An additional durable reinforcement pad on the medial side of the instep provides increased protection and improved durability in high-wear areas.
All Terrain Contagrip Outsole
The All Terrain Contagrip outsole delivers excellent grip on a wide variety of surfaces. On rocks, sand, and loose ground, the aggressive tread pattern ensures reliable traction and superior control.
Anti-Puncture
The puncture-resistant anti-puncture layer is positioned between the outsole and the insole. It prevents sharp or pointed objects from penetrating the sole and injuring the foot from below.

Quicklace Lacing System
The Quicklace system allows the shoe to be adjusted quickly and evenly with a single pull. The durable lacing mechanism enables fast on and off while ensuring a secure fit during dynamic movements. Excess lace can be stored neatly inside the integrated lace pocket.
