  The Evolved Classic

  The Mechanix The Original Covert Gen.3 carries one of Mechanix's best-known tactical gloves into its third generation. Much of it feels familiar, but numerous details have been refined. The fit, thumb area, and material construction are designed to provide a secure fit, good mobility, and reliable handling of equipment. What remains unchanged is the understated low-profile look that has defined the Original Covert for years.

  Designed for Mobility

  With the Original Covert Gen.3, the focus is on direct and precise handling. The glove fits close to the hand without unnecessarily restricting finger movement. Breathable TrekDry material is used on the back of the hand. It supports moisture management and helps maintain a more comfortable climate inside the glove, especially during extended use. Mechanix has also revised the thumb area and finger construction. This is particularly noticeable during tasks where secure gripping and a good feel for equipment are important. Tools, gear, and controls can therefore be handled with greater control. At the wrist, a flexible cuff with a hook-and-loop closure provides a secure fit while still allowing the glove to be put on and taken off quickly.

  Durable Palm with Touchscreen Function

  The palm is made from 0.8 mm synthetic leather. The material combines durability with the necessary tactile sensitivity while also providing a secure grip. Smartphones, tablets, and other devices with capacitive displays can be operated while wearing the gloves, as the palm is touchscreen compatible. Particular attention has also been paid to high-wear areas. A revised thumb reinforcement and reinforced stitching at key contact points are designed to improve durability during regular and intensive use. This makes the glove suitable not only for occasional tasks, but also for applications where the materials and seams are subjected to repeated stress.

  The Mechanix Original Covert Gen.3 is designed for a wide range of applications. Its combination of a close fit, grippy palm, and breathable back of the hand makes it equally suitable for security personnel, tactical users, as well as outdoor and survival applications.
