  The Classic with New Details

  The Leo Köhler KSK Field Shirt 2.0 clearly follows the design of the proven previous model, while introducing a number of updates that make a noticeable difference in everyday use. The cut and basic construction remain familiar.
  

  Material

  Leo Köhler uses a blend of 50% cotton and 50% polyester. The fabric is designed for regular use and combines the comfortable feel of cotton with the durable properties of polyester. A practical material choice for training, duty and long days outdoors.

  Construction

  Typical Field Shirt Cut

  At first glance, much of the design remains exactly as you would expect from a classic field shirt. Two patch chest pockets with flaps, shoulder epaulettes and the characteristic collar define the appearance of the KSK Field Shirt 2.0. Leo Köhler has also remained faithful to the familiar concept when it comes to the overall cut.

  The shirt is not unnecessarily tight and provides ample room for movement. Depending on the weather and intended use, it can be worn directly over a base layer or combined with additional clothing. The width at the wrists can be adjusted using the adjustable sleeve cuffs. At the front, the shirt features a button placket with slotted buttons, a typical detail of military field clothing.

  Redesigned Upper Arm Pockets

  The changes are more noticeable on the sleeves. The upper arm pockets of the original KSK Field Shirt have been revised for the new version and can now be opened using zippers with cord pull tabs. The cords are quick to grip, especially when wearing gloves, and are easier to operate than small zipper pulls. Each upper arm pocket also features a sewn-on loop panel. Patches, identification markers or insignia can be attached directly and changed quickly when required.

  More Storage on the Forearms

  The 2.0 version also adds extra pockets to the forearm area. They are positioned on both the front and rear of the sleeves and are also operated using zippers with cord pull tabs. The additional storage space is primarily intended for smaller items that need to remain easily accessible without having to use the chest or upper arm pockets.
  

  Ventilation

  Another new feature can be found under the arms. The field shirt is equipped with closable ventilation openings backed with mesh fabric. The zippers can be opened or closed depending on the situation. During marches, training or physical work, the openings can quickly provide additional airflow.
  

  Rather than changing the basic concept, Leo Köhler has focused primarily on improving pocket access and ventilation. Anyone familiar with the original KSK Field Shirt will therefore feel at home immediately, while the 2.0 offers additional sleeve storage and more options for regulating ventilation.
