  Proven Field Shirt with Practical Updates

  With the new Leo Köhler KSK Field Shirt 2.0, the classic field garment has been revised in several key areas. Leo Köhler has kept the basic design largely unchanged: a traditional field shirt cut, two large chest pockets and a durable construction intended for duty, training and use in the field. Most of the updates can be found on the sleeves. Additional pockets, redesigned upper arm pockets and closable underarm ventilation make the 2.0 considerably more versatile than the original model.

  Construction

  Cotton-Polyester Fabric

  The field shirt is made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester. The cotton provides a comfortable feel, while the polyester content adds durability and makes the fabric suitable for everyday use. The shirt is therefore designed to withstand regular wear and demanding use.

  Classic Field Shirt Design

  Visually, the Field Shirt 2.0 remains close to the familiar Bundeswehr style. The patch chest pockets with flaps, shoulder epaulettes and classic collar maintain the characteristic appearance. The overall fit has also been kept largely unchanged.

  The shirt provides enough room for unrestricted movement and can be worn either as a standalone outer layer or combined with additional clothing. The adjustable sleeve cuffs allow the fit around the wrists to be adapted as needed. Typical of military clothing, the field shirt is closed with a button placket featuring slotted buttons.

  Redesigned Upper Arm Pockets

  One of the most important changes compared with the original KSK Field Shirt can be found on the upper arm pockets. Instead of the previous design, the pockets now feature zippers with cord pull tabs. The cords are easy to grip and make the pockets easier to open, for example when wearing gloves or whenever quick access is required. Each upper arm pocket also features a sewn-on loop panel for attaching compatible patches, identification markers or insignia, which can be changed quickly when required.

  Additional Forearm Pockets

  Additional storage has also been added to the forearm area. Pockets are positioned on both the front and rear of the sleeves. These pockets also use zippers with cord pull tabs.

  The additional compartments are particularly practical for smaller items of equipment that need to remain quickly accessible. Especially when the field shirt is worn with a backpack, chest rig or other equipment, the extra storage space on the sleeves is a useful addition.

  Underarm Ventilation

  Another new feature is the closable underarm ventilation. Mesh-backed ventilation openings are located beneath the arms and can be opened or closed using zippers.

  During marches, training or physically demanding work, the ventilation can simply be opened to increase airflow. This makes the design considerably more flexible during changing activity levels than a permanently closed field shirt.

  Rather than completely redesigning the model, Leo Köhler has improved those areas where additional functionality offers a genuine advantage. More storage space on the sleeves, easier-to-access zippers and adjustable ventilation make the new version particularly interesting for users who are already familiar with the original field shirt and appreciate its durable, straightforward construction.
