With the new Light Insulation Hoodie LE Gen.2, DNS Alpha sets new standards in tactical clothing. This advanced mid-layer jacket combines modern materials with an optimized fit, enhanced functionality, and improved thermal performance. Based on the proven Grey Man Concept, the new generation impresses with greater durability and a well-thought-out design that meets the highest demands.
Premium Materials for Maximum Performance
The outer layer is made from an upgraded Polyamide 6.6, which is mechanically textured for added elasticity, abrasion resistance, and flexibility. For insulation, a special, water-repellent treated polyester has been used, offering an even better warmth-to-weight ratio. The inner lining, made of highly breathable and windproof polyamide, ensures a comfortable body climate, regardless of the weather conditions. Thanks to this material combination, the Light Insulation Hoodie LE Gen.2 can be packed down to a very compact size and takes up minimal space in your gear or travel bag.
Thoughtful Features for Practical Use
The 4-way stretch construction in the back area has been further optimized to provide maximum freedom of movement and comfort. A new Lycra reinforcement at the sleeve cuffs increases abrasion resistance and durability, even under heavy use. The ergonomically redesigned hood fits even better with operational and protective helmets, ensuring reliable protection even in extreme conditions.
Effective Temperature Management
The Light Insulation Hoodie LE Gen.2 is designed for a broader temperature range and offers improved insulation at temperatures around +5°C. By selecting the appropriate base layer, thermal performance can be further adjusted to provide optimal protection against the cold.
