Operational Helmet with Superior Ballistic Protection
The Busch PROtective AMP-1 TP FC provides extensive protective coverage and meets the strict requirements of the DEA/FBI protocol. This makes it a top model in Busch PROtective’s range. With its proven padding system and compatibility with various accessories, it offers a flexible and customizable solution for missions with elevated threat levels.
Outstanding Protection and Superior Comfort
The aramid helmet shell in classic ACH design delivers excellent ballistic protection thanks to patented EBSP technology. The helmet not only meets the demanding DEA-FBI protocol of 2019 but also VPAM 3 and NIJ IIIA+. In addition to penetration resistance, it is tested for backface deformation and ballistic protection under extreme temperature conditions, consistently achieving outstanding results. This protection is enhanced by the dual-layer padding system, which shields against blunt force impacts and can be individually adjusted to the wearer’s head using removable foam pads. The padding ensures an optimal fit with ABC masks or hearing protection and improves airflow for a more comfortable interior climate. The helmet is also equipped with a durable 2k matte black lacquer that resists wear, while the EPDM edge protector ensures long-lasting durability of the helmet rim.
Flexible One-Size Design from XS to XL
The helmet shell is designed as a universal size, which simplifies usage in equipment pools. With the CRS-2 harness system available in different lengths, the fit can be optimized. Alternatively, the separately available CRS-2 SV in unisize allows for easy handover to colleagues with different head sizes. The simple strap system with metal hooks enables quick adjustments without tools. A rear adjustment dial ensures a perfect fit and can be comfortably fine-tuned even during use.
Highly Customizable
The CMR-1 rail system provides numerous options for attaching essential equipment securely to the helmet. This includes mounts for headlamps, Picatinny rails, and beacons. The integrated Speed Connect System allows protective visors of various shapes to be easily clipped on without removing the helmet. Additional slots and buckles enable the attachment of oxygen masks, goggles, ballistic chin guards, or the CTM-1 training kit, ensuring optimal preparedness for scenarios ranging from parachute jumps to FX ammunition training. With its NVG mount, the helmet is compatible with night vision devices. For added balance, the separately available CAW-1 counterweight pouch can be securely attached to the rear and side CMR-1 rail system.
