Tactical Helmet with Maximum Protection
The Busch PROtective AMP-1 TP FC excels with its extensive coverage and high protective capabilities that meet the stringent DEA/FBI protocol, making it a leader in the Busch PROtective lineup. With a proven padding system and compatibility with modular accessories, the helmet offers a customizable solution for operations with particularly demanding threat profiles.
Comprehensive Protection and High Comfort
The aramid helmet shell in the classic ACH style achieves superior ballistic protection with the patented EBSP technology, meeting the rigorous 2019 DEA-FBI protocol, VPAM 3, and NIJ IIIA+. In addition to penetration resistance, this combat helmet is also tested for backface deformation and ballistic protection in heat and cold environments, where it performs excellently. This protective effect is complemented by the two-layer padding system that guards against blunt impacts and can be individually adjusted to the head shape with removable foam pads. The dual-layer construction of the padding ensures a good fit over CBRN masks or hearing protection and also increases airflow for a more comfortable climate inside the helmet. In daily use, the durable 2K coating in matte black protects against surface wear, and the EPDM edge protection safeguards the rim of the helmet.
Universal Size for XS to XL
Opting to manufacture the helmet shell in a universal size simplifies its use in shared unit equipment and can be optimized with the CRS-2 harness system in different lengths or passed directly to colleagues of different sizes with the separately sold CRS-2 SV in unisize without any modifications. Changing the straps is easy and tool-free thanks to the metal hooks. For the right fit on the head, the easily operable dial allows comfortable adjustment of the width on the go.
Individually Upgradeable
The CMR-1 rail system enables various adaptations to securely attach relevant equipment to the helmet. Items such as headlamps, Picatinny rails, and beacons can be mounted on the rails. At the front of the rail system, the Speed Connect System, a quick-release for visors, allows protective visors of various shapes to be clipped in without having to remove the helmet. A small buckle and two slots allow for the attachment of glasses, oxygen masks, ballistic chin guards, or the CTM-1 Training Kit to ensure readiness from free-fall jumps to training with FX ammunition. With the NVG mount, the helmet is ready for use with night vision devices, while the separately available CAW-1 counterweight pouch can be attached to the back with hook and loop fastening and to the side CMR-1 rail system.
