Specifically designed for professional users, the new Mid Insulation Hoody is part of the DNS Alpha Law Enforcement series and, thanks to the smartly chosen 70g/m² filling, is the ideal choice for anyone who finds the Heavy Insulation Hoody too heavy and the Light Insulation Hoody not warming enough.
Durable and comfortable
For the outer layer of the Mid Insulation Hoody, DNS Alpha uses mechanically textured polyamide 6.6, which impresses with its increased resistance and comfortable stretch behaviour.
Lining and insulation
The insulation material, made from durable, water-repellent polyester, is extremely lightweight despite excellent thermal performance, and the lining, made from breathable yet windproof polyamide, provides optimal protection from the elements.
For dynamic activities
Thanks to the smart stretch construction in the back, the Mid Insulation Hoody offers unparalleled freedom of movement. At the wrists, lightweight and comfortable Lycra increases abrasion resistance. The optimally placed handwarmer pockets offer additional comfort through supplementary insulation of the pockets. The hood can be adjusted in size by means of a drawstring to suit the user's individual head shape.
DNS Alpha System Fit
The unique DNS Alpha System Fit sizing system simplifies the selection of the right size and optimises the proven onion principle from base to outer layer. After successful validation of the personal DNS Alpha size, all garments can be combined with corresponding ready-to-wear garments in an exemplary manner. In the long run, this eliminates tiresome size experiments and garments can be ordered blindly and arranged in reliable harmony.
Temperature management
The DNS Alpha MId Insulation Hoody was developed for temperatures around 0°C and its performance can be optimised depending on the choice of baselayer to be combined. Of course, it should always be noted that thermoreception and the temperature sensitivity of the individual is a subjective feeling that can vary individually even by tested standards.
