  Bushcraft backpack with a back system for women

  This year, Tatonka has embraced the bushcrafter direction by expanding its range to include the Bushcraft line. Moving away from tactical demands, the lightweight and comfortable Tatonka Pyrox 40 + 10 Women BC is now offered in unobtrusive Stone Grey Olive. This modern touring backpack, designed for female explorers, has a capacity of up to 50 liters, making it excellent for long hikes with sleeping gear, cabin treks, and activities that push a small daypack to its limits.
  

  Anatomically shaped carrying system

  The new Frame Comfort Light Women back system from Tatonka stands out with its low weight, high comfort, and steplessly back length adjustment from approximately 42 to 52 cm. The adjustment is made via a hook and loop connection in the back system and can be easily changed on the go. To comfortably carry loads around 15kg, a spring steel frame is integrated into the back, distributing the weight to the attached hip belt. The pelvic belt has MOLLE loops on one side and a zippered pocket made of elastic material on the other, where tissues, sunscreen, and wallet can be conveniently stored while the redirected lacing eases tightening the strap. The strongly curved shoulder straps with an adjustable chest strap are generously padded and tailored to the anatomy of women. With the load control straps, the optimal adjustment is found to secure the loaded backpack close to the back during long trips. The excess length is secured with two loops, which also serve as drinking tube guides. Generous use of mesh and airy padding increases air circulation to remain efficient even in summer. With two handles, the backpack can be easily loaded into a car or rearranged in camp.
  

  Divisible primary compartment with top and front access

  Whether just stowing away a jacket quickly or accessing the entire contents at night camp, the loading options from the top and front ensure that the gear is accessible in any situation. Usable as a top loader, the pack sack has a drawstring closure with contrasting red material at the cord stopper and opposite for better visibility. The continuous Cordura ensures uninterrupted durability when fully loaded. The secondary access is via a robust front zipper, which runs in a U-shape, allowing for targeted removal of individual pieces of equipment without having to rummage through the entire contents. Integrated into this lid is a flat zippered pocket that can be accessed from the outside and is ideal for maps, stoves, sitting mats, or a folded rain jacket. Inside the main compartment, there is a pocket on the back wall for a hydration bladder with central suspension and a tube passage. Below, a zippered partition allows for division into a main compartment and sleeping bag compartment. An additional zipper allows the sleeping bag compartment to be loaded and unloaded independently from the rest of the contents.
  

  Height-adjustable lid compartment with marking

  Thanks to the four straps, the lid pocket can be individually adjusted to the backpack's loading height and with four loops on top it can be easily supplemented with separately available elastic cord to fix jackets and gloves outside the women's backpack. The spacious lid compartment offers enough space for stove, gas cartridges, or rainwear, with the zipper opening only so far that loosely stored items do not fall out. For additional organization, the small mesh pockets from the TT Mesh Pocket Set are an excellent tool. The key hook is used to secure particularly elusive small items without jeopardizing the trip. For first-aid equipment, there is a well-marked zippered pocket on the underside of the lid, which can also accommodate more extensive first-aid kits without using the space of the actual lid compartment.
  

  Attachment options for additional pockets

  To utilize the broad pool of modular pouches, Tatonka has decided to equip the outdoor backpack with MOLLE-compatible attachment loops. The front features a modern triangle laser cut that provides a distinct look, clearly distinguishing it from tactical backpacks. Classic MOLLE webbing is found on the sides and one of the hip belt fins. The ideal add-on is Tatonka's Universal Pouches, designed for civilian use in their internal layout, but all other MOLLE pouches are also adaptable.
  

  Equipped with practical details for adventures

  With two long packing straps on the bottom, a sleeping mat or rolled bivy bag can be attached to the outside the backpack. They run through a loop that allows for targeted fixation of equipment at the bottom and front of the backpack. Tripods and side pockets can be secured outside the backpack with the two compression straps per side. On the lower edge on the left, there is an open insertion pocket made of elastic material, where a water bottle can be conveniently stored and quickly refilled at a water source. To keep hands free in dense undergrowth or when climbing steep slopes, trekking poles or an ice axe can be hooked in with two adjustable material-loops. The backpack comes with an olive green rain cover that additionally protects the contents during continuous rain. Lastly, a 10 x 5 cm loop area allows the backpack to be marked and the preferred patch to be attached.
