  Solid entry-level backpack with 45 liters

  Fitting for the freshly dawned outdoor season and the first materializing travel plans of the year, the Akela 45 is a particularly classic, uncomplicated travel and trekking backpack that mingles with the best players in the 45-liter backpack segment. With the intention of giving young people and lightweights in particular a scout backpack for their first vacation tours, the lightweight all-rounder relies above all on a solid, strong and comfortable carrying system that ideally supports the back and transfers the load safely. For the first camps with bag and pack and for a successful start to the first outdoor adventures.

  Uncomplicated material for long-lasting quality

  The backpack should be uncomplicated and flexible, yet robust and durable? Check, thanks to the smart material selection. The PFC-free 420 HD Nylon FD ECO is a very typical backpack nylon, which is used here as a solid base material thanks to its "High Density" (HD) variant. With a high tear strength thanks to the thread strength of 420 and with a waterproof surface thanks to triple PU coating, the backpack is washed with all waters. And, of course, with good looks, as the FD yarn (Full-Dull) gives the material a smart, matte surface.

  The addition of T-Snow Crust ECO brings another lightweight, tear and abrasion resistant polyamide fabric into play; again, the inside of the material is waterproof thanks to the PU coating. T-Snow Crust ECO is also completely PFC-free.

  Practical features

  The Akela 45 rocks its 45-liter volume at 69 x 28 x 19 cm and in a pack sack that is divided between the main and bottom compartments. The main compartment can be fully opened and closed with a snow skirt. In the bottom compartment can be packed separately a sleeping bag, dirty clothes or muddy shoes. Tent poles, small parts and all kinds of gear go into the lid compartment and into two large side pockets with zipper and hidden insertion channel. For a sleeping pad is provided as well, of course, it can be attached to the compression straps on the bottom.

  With additional gear loops on the lid, front and side pockets, more gear can be attached.

  Reliable carrying system

  Because the target group of the Akela 45 are teenagers and thus primarily leighties, Tatonka has placed particular emphasis on a sustainable anatomical back system. The flexible V Comfort Vario carrying system ensures efficient load transfer to the hip area, thus transferring potential overloads from the back to the hips. The back length can be adjusted with a relatively large margin so that the hip belt can be positioned correctly.
  
  As a beginner backpack, the Akela 45 is the ideal first trekking backpack and certainly one that will buck many years of exciting memories.
