With the Bullet Ruck 15 L you kill 2 birds with one stone: as a flat EDC backpack in an unobtrusive design, the daypack is good for everyday use. However, it also offers everything an entry level ruck needs for rucking: Namely, a solid material, good load distribution and the ability to slide in a Ruck Plate up to 40 LBS (18 kg). With solid features for versatile use, it's definitely one of Goruck's lightest backpacks - with the idea of not using it for mammoth workouts and super heavy loads.
If you've just discovered rucking for yourself, or if you like to carry a secondary backpack with lighter panels, you'll love the Bullet with its 15-liter capacity.
Easy packing, versatile use
The Bullet Ruck opens to the front and can be opened up completely. The compartment for the ruck plate is big enough for a 10LB, 20LB or 30LB Ruck Plate. Additionally, you can pack your water bladder: Attach it to the D-ring inside and route it to the outside via the port under the top carry handle. For all tactical geeks, the M.O.L.L.E. system is a must: 3 strips on the front are ready for your extra pouches. All zippers are YKK zippers, which can be operated silently and even with gloves.
Lightweight material, rugged utility
So much for the practical layout and the externals. Even with the choice of material, however, Goruck has found a good compromise between a rucking backpack for pros and an everyday daypack. The CORDURA 500 den of the upper material is a super robust, although a rather thin nylon fiber. Thus, the material can endure a lot and is even extremely water-repellent and rainproof. However, it's not too bulky or heavy, especially in everyday use - a perfect middle ground for ruckers on office trails.
A novelty that Goruck has implemented in all new backpacks is the special attention to often critically stressed areas. Especially those who wear the backpack on bare skin or over textiles such as merino wool no longer need to worry about friction burns and tattered clothes: with an innovative CORDURA 210 den on the back of the rucksack and on the undersides of the padded shoulder straps, friction is prevented and carrying is made much more comfortable.
And speaking of comfort: Not only the shoulder straps, but also the back panel and the carrying strap are padded. Ideal conditions, then, no matter how spontaneous you had out for your workout. With the Bullet there are no excuses: unpack the laptop, throw in the sandbag and start training! And in multicam-black the ruck is the coolest anyway.
