For all beginners in rucking, Goruck has developed the Bullet Ruck 15 L. Those who don`t yet train with a full load and also like to unpack the sandbags and pack the laptop, will get their money's worth with the Bullet Ruck and its 15 liters of volume.
Simple layout without too many extras
The flat rucking or EDC backpack is super easy to pack from the front. It can be opened completely and thus, is easy to organize. Three interior pockets in the main compartment offer space for weights, or for your everyday odds and ends on a small hike or on the way to the office. The shoulder straps, back panel and shoulder strap are padded for better comfort.
A separate compartment for a ruck plate is large enough for a 10LB (4,5 kg), 20LB (9 kg) or 30LB (13,5 kg) ruck plate. Additionally, a water bladder can be hooked to the inner D-ring and the hose can be routed to the outside underneath the top carrying handle. Three M.O.L.L.E. strips on the front make space for additional pouches and the YKK zippers can be opened silently and even with gloves - great for winter times or tactical missions.
Cordura at its best
The simple layout and self-explanatory versatility are reflected in the choice of materials, where a good middle ground between rucking backpack and everyday daypack has been found. The CORDURA 500 den of the upper materialis robust and in addition extremely water-repellent or rainproof. Nevertheless, it is a comparatively thin nylon fiber that is not too bulky or heavy, which is important especially in everyday use.
As an interesting detail, Goruck has equipped the often critically stressed areas on the back and shoulder straps with a softer and innovative CORDURA 210 den. Anyone who wears the backpack on bare skin or over textiles such as merino wool, will know the painful friction burns and torn areas on clothing. With the new material proportions Goruck anticipates these problems and ensures an undisturbed rucking.
With the Bullet Ruck, beginners will hit the ground running when it comes to rucking and pros will expand their training with a great secondary backpack. A superb compromise between daypack and ruck that will still let you haul up to 40LBS (18 kg).
