High performance material
The UTP pants offer impressive tactical strength and unrestricted freedom of movement thanks to their innovative material mix of high-quality ripstop fabric. Made from durable polycotton material that is a blend of 60% cotton, 37% polyester and 2% elastane, the pants ensure an optimal balance between durability and comfort. The ripstop effect provides extra tear resistance, while the special construction allows maximum freedom of movement. Whether in an urban environment or in challenging terrain, the UTP pants are the ideal choice for a variety of missions.
Anatomical cut
The material was specifically developed to meet the requirements of tactical use and in this context is also the intelligent cut, which was developed to the anatomical conditions of the body in motion. Similar to a classic pair of jeans, the waistband and hips fit securely without slipping, while the knee and seat areas are designed for frequent kneeling and sitting. The anatomically stitched and reinforced knees not only allow for freer movement, but also provide room for low profile insert pads inside.
The elastic waistband with hook-and-loop closure also ensures the perfect fit. So although a belt does not necessarily need to be worn, an EDC, UTL or Cobra belt can be combined: Belt loops are provided to accommodate a belt up to 50mm wide. The leg hem has a cord loop that allows the pants to be adjusted individually. This is especially useful when used with combat or duty boots.
Pocket configuration
The versatile pocket configuration of these pants not only has the two typical front pockets of a pair of jeans, but also an additional front pocket with a hook-and-loop closure. This pocket is large enough to safely store a smartphone or AR/AK magazine. The thigh level side pockets are shallow in profile and their depth is not visible at first glance. They open easily with a zipper and offer enough space for the most important EDC. Completing the practical pocket design are two rear slip pockets that round out the cargo constellation. All edges of the front and back pockets are reinforced. Thus, clips of lamps or knives remain firmly in place and do not slip.
