The OTP Pants are one of the signature pieces of the Helikon-Tex line and after the update, the OTP (Outdoor Tactical Pants) Versastretch has become even more versatile, resilient and ready for action.
Outdoor stretch material
Namely, what used to be the UTP - the Urban Tactical Pants - was supplemented in the OTP by the necessary extra outdoor and bushcraft qualities. All functions, pockets and features have been retained, but made even better in some details. The pants fit well in any terrain and in every movement and offer full mobility with maximum resilience. Especially the material got an upgrade: The Versastretch (93% nylon, 7% elastane) is particularly light, elastic and still breathable. It also dries quickly. Whether in humid weather or at higher activity frequency, the pants don`t stay wet and don`t weigh you down.
Perfect fit
No material is good enough without a smart cut, however: The OTP is specifically designed for good freedom of movement and is therefore anatomically cut. With an elastic waistband and an adjustable Velcro, the pants width can be adjusted according to their frame. In addition, large belt loops allow the use of wide belts (EDC, UTL® or Cobra®, up to 50 mm wide). The trouser legs can be pulled together at the hem with bungee cord, and the knees are anatomically adjusted. The buttom was designed in the design of jeans in order to improve the fit when sitting or kneeling.
Discreet but versatile pocket layout
The exclusive pocket layout provides that certain bushcrafter extra, which gathers in the center of gravity around the hips and waist. Two front pockets closable with hook-and-loop are large enough for a smartphone or a spare magazine (AK/AR). The zippered thigh pockets, on the other hand, seem small but have decent depth and good room for a wallet or even an extra pouch. The reinforced knees can be padded with Helikon-Tex's Neoprene Low Profile Protection Pads via the inner knee pockets. Small but nice detail: The pocket edges are reinforced to keep lamp or knife clips from sliding back and forth.
With its modern cut and the smart and discreet pocket layout, the OTP outdoor pants are ready for all uses. Whether with or without gear in the pockets, the lightweight pants are ready for any tactical mission or bushcraft tour.
