  GORUCK has placed extreme value on workmanship and material selection since they began making rucking gear back in 2008. Material failure is not an option for company founders Emily and Jason McCarthy. So it's no surprise that even with the mother of all sandbags, the 120LB Monster, all seams are double-stitched and all high-stress points are reinforced to the max. The flat padded handles secured with box stitching avoid pressure points when carried on the shoulders and fit snugly in the hand. The interior pockets secure the filling material against leakage while avoiding wear and tear on the robust YKK zippers.

  Despite its massive payload capacity, the empty Sandbag 120LB fits into any luggage with its compact pack size and can be taken anywhere in the world without complications. Sand can be found almost anywhere and is even free on the beach. Training protocols for the Sandbag 120LB are plentiful on the Internet, even on the GORUCK website. The Sandbag is also available in 40LB (18 kg), 60LB (27 kg) and 80LB (36 kg), in addition to the 120LB (54 kg) version described here.
