The Rucker 3.0 20L in Multicam with the Standard Frame is made of rugged 1000D Cordura, while the insides of the straps and back area are made of skin-friendly 210D HT Cordura, preventing abrasion and skin irritation even when worn on bare skin. The combination of a wider frame sheet to evenly distribute the weight when fully loaded and an ergonomically shaped, padded lumbar support ensures a comfortable fit on long tours and/or when using GORUCK Ruck Plates and supports the natural S-shape of the spine.

No matter what your workout looks like, the Rucker 3.0 20L in Multicam leaves nothing to be desired.
Thanks to four massively reinforced carry handles (top, bottom and both sides), GORUCK's flagship is suitable for most battle bag workouts, many classic exercises such as Farmers Walk and most partner exercises like the ones often found at GORUCK events. Three circumferential rows of M.O.L.L.E. make it possible to expand the backpack with additional pockets and pouches, as well as connect an additional hip belt for long tours and extra heavy loading.Rugged YKK zippers with silent tabs made of bungee cord provide full glove compatibility. A zipper pocket for smaller items (keys, phone, wallet) is located on the front, just below the 2x3" patch area. The side to side hi-vis reflective stripe ensures visibility even in low-light conditions. Proven 1000D Cordura is highly water repellent and easily withstands a downpour. If the backpack is submerged during training or rucking, excess water can runs off via the drain eyelet on the underside.
Perfectly organized internals
The sleek 20-liter compartment of the Rucker 3.0 features a small go-to pocket and a large zippered mesh pouch, as well as two slots for GORUCK Ruck Plates. The rear slot features a hook-and-loop lid for vertically securing compatible Ruck Plates up to 30LB. The second elastic insert holds Ruck Plates up to 45LB. The maximum weight of 75LB (30LB + 45LB GORUCK Ruck Plates) is recommended for rucking only, as weight plates can slip out of the lidless pocket during exercises such as burpees or bear crawls. Additional weight can be added using filler bags. GORUCK recommends a maximum load of one-third of one's own body weight. The compact GORUCK Ruck Plates have the advantage of hardly taking up backpack space and leaving enough space for various equipment and clothing. This is most benefitial on long tours, as is the compatibility with popular hydration systems. The Rucker 3.0 series features an internal D-ring and an outlet for a drinking tube. Loading and unloading the Rucker is made very easy with zippers that run all the way to the bottom, as is often the case with Medic Packs.
What is Rucking?
Rucking combines the positive effects of fast walking with those of strength training. Similar to military marches, rucking involves adding weight to the backpack. The challenge for body and mind can be customized to one's abilities and increased as desired. More weight, longer rounds, and a faster pace allow the workout intensity to be increased linearly or progressively in the blink of an eye. The combination of cardio and strength training burns three times as many calories compared to normal walking. The simplicity of the equipment allows you to work out at any time of day, night or even season - no matter where you are.

The 45LB Ruck Plate in the GORUCK Rucker cannot be secured vertically. With unsecured weight plates in the front slot, the Rucker is not suitable for GORUCK Challenges and exercises such as Burpees and Bear Crawls. -
