HABA's philosophy is based on a simple principle: Children are the most important thing we have. However, teaching them fundamental values, raising them to be independent, creative and imaginative people, is not just the job of parents. Rather, children grow up in a dense network of relationships. Siblings, friends, educators, teachers - they all have an influence on children's development. But not only people, but also all the things that surround children and the environment in which they grow up help shape children's development from day one.
HABA toys have been convincing for many generations with their special design and high play value. Every day, over 15 employees put all their passion into the development of well thought-out toys and games. They are inspired by nature or by people, on journeys or at home, work alone or in a team ... and in the end, special products are created that stimulate children's curiosity and play instinct.
However, not only HABA's ideas are "made in Germany", but also most of the toys and play figures made of wood. These are produced at the HABA company site in Bad Rodach in Upper Franconia. The ideas have their roots in Germany, just like the trees that supply the wood for the products. They come from sustainable forestry - which is why HABA wooden toys also bear the PEFC seal of approval.
"If we want to change the world, we have to start with the children," said the famous violinist Yehudi Menuhin. And children need one thing above all else, in addition to the attention and love of their parents: well-designed toys that allow imaginative play, challenge them in an age-appropriate way and, above all, are fun. In short: things that make children's eyes light up and at the same time offer a lasting incentive to play. So let's change the world together ... by giving children the space and time to develop their personalities with meaningful toys and beautiful things.
