Maximum strength resistance band
Resistance bands are probably one of the most uncomplicated and at the same time most versatile pieces in any functional training: always in your gym bag and without any additional weight, they are used for daily training sessions and spontaneous exercises in any performance training. The Younix Elastic Blue Band is the strongest band in the group of Younix Resistance Bands and is used for advanced workouts and by experienced athletes.
Complete training with Resistance Band
The special function of the individually selectable resistance depending on the band is not only that weight exercises can be replaced without additional weight and only with the own body weight and resistance of the band. Above all, the resistance bands also provide an additional workout for joints and surrounding muscle groups because the body has to be permanently stabilised, thus creating a more comprehensive training challenge - the entire body is challenged. Because resistance bands can improve performance regardless of the type of sport, they have become widely used in functional training.
Strength, stability and flexibility
The band replaces conventional weights in strength exercises. The resistance band generates more tension the further the movements are performed. Higher resistance at the end of the range of motion poses a greater challenge to peripheral stabilisation. This forces the entire body to act as a stabiliser. In the same way, the speed at which exercises are performed can also be changed, so that the so-called "ascending resistance" can intensify the exercises. In this way, the body learns in a neurological way to accelerate the force and to be able to use it better in everyday life or sports.
Options and functions
There are 5 different resistance bands to choose from, which can be identified at a glance due to their colour coding.
The bands, made of natural latex rubber, are each 104 cm long and 5 mm thick, but vary in width and resistance.
- Lighter bands (red and black) are used for pre-treatment, rehabilitation, mobility, speed, agility and light strength training.
- Stronger bands (purple and green) are used for mobility, assistance, squats, deadlifts and bench press.
- The bands with the highest resistance - like the blue band offered here - are used for maximum resistance.
Whether the bands are used for stretching, rehabilitation, bodyweight strength training or to promote speed and mobility, the bands cover all areas. So especially those who want to train at home or on the go can do a complete training session with the resistance bands without having to rely on additional equipment.
