  Spacious Lightweight Backpack for Outdoor Adventures

  The 5.11 Skyweight 36L Pack is a lightweight outdoor backpack that, with its 36-liter capacity, is suitable for longer day trips and summer overnighters. Thanks to the 330D RipStop Nylon, this daypack is incredibly lightweight and abrasion-resistant, making it a reliable companion for demanding hikes, climbs and mountain excursions. To protect against persistent rain, it comes with a 200D nylon rain cover in signal orange, which can also serve as an improvised signal panel.
  

  Comfortable Back System

  The integrated frame is complemented by a padded back system with air channels, efficiently preventing heat buildup. The padded shoulder straps feature hose guides and laser-cut MOLLE for added versatility. The height-adjustable chest strap with an integrated whistle ensures the shoulder straps stay in place. To ensure an optimal fit, the hiking backpack includes load control straps. Equipped with quick-release buckles, you can easily open the shoulder straps to quickly remove the backpack in almost any position. The waist belt is equipped with MOLLE all around and can be detached from the lumbar pad. When worn separately, it can be equipped with modular pouches and is also a perfect fit for the Skyweight Utility Chest Pack and Skyweight Survival Chest Pack. The length adjustment of the belt is achieved through a redirection mechanism that, similar to a pulley, makes tightening and adjusting it comfortable while pulling the straps forward.
  

  Features for a Successful Tour

  At the front, this versatile backpack features two vertical Daisy-Chains, where you can easily attach carabiners, shock cord, or paracord to keep equipment within easy reach. Additionally, the backpack has a generous open Shove-It pocket on the front for quick storage and access to items like cords, fire-starting materials, a saw, or other essentials. The two loops for trekking poles make the Skyweight Pack a perfect rucksack for hiking. Storing water bottles or a windbreaker is made easy with the elastic side pockets. Two packing straps at the bottom are ideal for securing items like a sleeping mat, to perform in multi-day hikes. An external EDC (Everyday Carry) pocket securely stores essentials and provides organizational options inside. For integrating a hydration system, an external hydration bladder compartment offers easy access to keep you reliably hydrated during strenuous activities. The main compartment features a full-length zipper that allows for complete access to the entire contents. Unintentional openings when accessing from the top are prevented by the side compression straps with snap fasteners. Inside, there's also a zippered mesh pocket for securely storing items prone to loss. For easy lifting, the backpack has a top carry handle.
